Seasonal Flowers

Which flowers are in Season When?

Using seasonal flowers grown locally can make a significant difference to the cost of your floral arrangements.
Listed under each month are the flowers grown at Eumundi Roses. It won’t necessarily mean they will be in stock at the time, but generally they would normally be available. To some extent they may be growing out of their true season, such as chrysanthemums for Mothers Day. This involves a little bit of trickery to make the plant think it’s Spring. Roses and Lisianthus are becoming more and more popular for Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day. Again a little bit of knowledge and trickery is involved to make these flowers happen at this time of year. The true season for Roses is November; Lisianthus best time is just prior to Christmas.
